The Ingeniero Aeronautico Ambrosio Taravella (also known as Pajas Blancas Airport) is an air base located in the city of Cordoba, capital of the province of the same name, in the Republic of Argentina. The airport is located 11.5 km from downtown and has a passenger terminal of approximately 19,000 mts2, which has the capacity to handle 2,400,000 passengers per year. It is the third most important international airport in Argentina, after Ezeiza International Airport and Jorge Newbery Airport. As far as domestic flights are concerned, it is the second most important airport at national level.
