What is Fly SMART?
Fly more, pay less
Our rates are very low and very simple. They entitle you to travel with a small handbag from point A to point B. Other airlines include benefits that they later charge you in the price. Our fares have no hidden costs.
Just pay what you use
At JetSMART we believe that you should just pay for what you use. If you don't carry baggage, you don't pay for baggage. If you don't order food on board, you don't pay for it. It is your choice.
New Aircrafts
At JetSMART all our planes are new! Flying with JetSMART is not only very safe, but also efficient. Our airplanes use less fuel so we charge you less.
Simplicity
At JetSMART we are simple and we want to make flying simple and affordable for everyone. We have added more seats in our airplanes because the cost per person is lower when we fly with more people. In addition, our seats are pre-reclined and we do not offer magazines or onboard entertainment. Due to this simplicity our costs will be cheaper and we will be able to charge you low fares.

Large Cabin Bag
If you already know that you will be carrying your hand luggage on board the plane, in addition to your small carry-on bag included in your SMART fare, we encourage you to pay for it when buying your ticket online. This way it will always be cheaper for you. It will be more expensive at the airport as it costs us time and resources to charge at the counter or gate. (Maximum dimensions: 55cm x 35 cm x 25cm)

Checked Baggage
This is the suitcase you carry in the baggage compartment of the plane. If you already know that you will be carrying checked baggage, we encourage you to pay online when buying your ticket. Avoid paying at the airport as this will cost us time and resources, making it more expensive for you. If you pay online, hand it over at the counter on the day of your flight at no extra cost. (Maximum weight and dimensions: 23kg/158 linear cm)

Selecting Seats
You can select the seat you want at a very low cost. Make sure you get front-row seats, emergency exits or SMART seats (rows 2 to 4) where you'll have more legroom to enjoy the flight. You can also choose between quick exit seats (rows 5 to 11) or standard seats (rows 15 to 32). If you decide not to select a seat, there is no problem, we will randomly assign you a seat.

Printing boarding pass at the airport
At JetSMART we don't want you to pay extra, that's why we will always ask you to check-in online and take your boarding pass to the airport, either printed or the digital version. If you decide to check-in or print your boarding pass at the airport counter, we will charge you for this service. We suggest that you pay online when buying your ticket. It will be more expensive later.

Oversized Equipment
You can bring your bike, golf bag, surfboard or musical instrument with you. If you already know that you will be carrying oversized baggage, we suggest that you pay online at the moment of buying your ticket. Avoid paying at the airport as this will cost us time and resources and will be more expensive for you. If you pay online, hand it over at the counter on the day of your flight without any extra cost.

Priority Boarding
If you want to skip the line and board the plane before all other passengers, we suggest that you pay for this service online when buying your ticket. This way it will always be cheaper for you.
