Foz do Iguaçu is an incredibly magical place because of its beauty, but also because it is a meeting point for the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. Hundreds of tourists arrive every year, on the Brazilian side, to be amazed by the views -especially of the Falls, which have been declared a World Heritage Site-, but also by the diversity of activities that the city offers.  

About airport

The Foz do Iguaçu International Airport has been in constant change and modernization due to the high number of foreign passengers it receives year after year, so the check in, boarding and disembarking areas have comfortable spaces and modern facilities. To get to the center of the city from there you can use taxis and buses. The latter, can even drop you off a couple of miles from the Falls. 

What to do? Foz de Iguazú?

To start, there is no doubt that you should visit the Iguazu Falls, where you will need at least three hours to walk along all the trails, take breaks at the observation points, take a boat ride and finish the tour at Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat).  In the afternoon, visit the milestone between the three countries - Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil - where you can see how the waters of the Paraná and Iguazu rivers meet. Finally, the Picaflores Garden will be an excellent place to learn about the local fauna. 

When to go Foz de Iguazú?

The climate is humid and rains are frequent throughout the year, however, there is nothing to worry about as temperatures remain high at all times. Summer is defined by the period from October to March, while winter is the time between May and September.
