Your trip begins before you fly

Access to the terminal will be exclusively vehicular. Find out how to get there quickly, comfortably and safely:


How to get there by car

If you arrive in your car or private vehicle:

You will be able to use the road enabled to drop off passengers for a maximum of 10 minutes.

Access is through Morales Duarez Avenue, entering through a temporary modular bridge.

Once inside, you will have to follow the signposted route to Floor 3 of the terminal, intended for boarding domestic and international flights.

Parking is available:

If you need to park your vehicle, the entrance must also be made through Morales Duarez Avenue, but using the free way enabled for access to the parking lots.

You can access the Boulevard and Floor 2 of the airport, where the parking area is located.

There are spaces available for both short and long stays, perfectly signposted and with support staff on site.

How to arrive by bus

The new Jorge Chávez Airport will be operational as of June 1, 2025. Access to the terminal will be exclusively vehicular and will be provided by the AeroDirecto public transportation service, which will connect the airport with different points in Lima.

What is the AeroDirecto service and what does it offer?

  • Direct connection to the terminal: All buses arrive at a bus stop located on the airport's vehicular access road, a few meters from the main entrance, which guarantees a quick and comfortable arrival.
  • Safe and orderly access: Disembarkation takes place within the authorized area of the airport, without the need for additional transfers.
  • High frequency: Buses run every 15 minutes, offering a constant and efficient connection from different parts of the city.

  • The cost of the ticket varies between S/ 1.20 and S/ 5.00, depending on the section.

Service hours:

  • Operates Monday through Sunday, between 5:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
  • The units are identified with the “AeroDirecto” brand and have 57 marked stops and on-site orientation personnel.

AeroDirecto Norte - From Los Olivos

  • One way: Izaguirre, Municipalidad, Megaplaza, Plaza Norte, Universitaria, Dominicos, Av. Perú, Aduanas, Monark → Airport.
  • Return: Quilca, Aduanas, Av. Perú, Dominicos, Universitaria, Plaza Norte, Megaplaza, Municipalidad, Izaguirre.

AeroDirecto Sur - From Pueblo Libre

  • One way: Cuba, San Felipe, Javier Prado, Bolognesi, Mercado Magdalena, Escardó, La Marina, Faucett, Hospital San José → Airport.
  • Return: Hospital San José, Venezuela, La Marina, Escardó, Mercado Magdalena, Javier Prado, San Felipe, Cuba.

AeroDirecto Centro - From Downtown Lima

  • One way: Dos de Mayo, Tingo María, Dueñas, Universitaria, Faucett, Hospital San José → Airport.
  • Return: Hospital San José, Argentina, Universitaria, Dueñas, Tingo María.

AeroDirecto Quilca - From Callao

  • One way: From Quilca Avenue, through Faucett and Morales Duárez → Airport.

AeroDirecto Ventanilla

  • This route runs along Av. Néstor Gambeta, then takes Av. Faucett and continues along Av. Morales Duárez until arriving directly at the new airport terminal.

Important:

  • The AeroDirecto service is a service designed to facilitate access to the new terminal for those who do not have their own vehicle or use a cab.
  • It is especially designed for passengers traveling with light luggage (backpacks or suitcases up to 8 kg), as well as for airport workers and people going to the terminal to meet someone or carry out formalities.

How to arrive by Taxi

You can take a TAXI from any point in Lima or Callao to get directly to the new airport.

Remember that the entrance is 100% vehicular and is signposted to facilitate quick and orderly access.

The Urban Transportation Authority (ATU) has defined 5 entry routes and 4 exit routes recommended for cabs and private cars, which will allow you to get there without setbacks.

Remember to arrive early

  • We recommend you to arrive early to avoid delays and enjoy all the facilities of the new terminal (3 hours before for domestic flights and 4 hours for international flights).
  • Our counters will be located in the third island, section “F”.
  • For passengers with reduced mobility, the airport will have infrastructure, services and coordinated actions to ensure accessibility.

Migracheck: speed up your immigration control at the new Jorge Chávez Airport.

Since June 1st, passengers of Peruvian nationality, of legal age and valid electronic passport or resident foreigners with valid Foreigners Card and valid electronic passport, may speed up their immigration control at the new Jorge Chavez International Airport by using the electronic gates (e-gates).

To do so, they must pre-register through Migracheck, the new digital tool available on the Migration website. This pre-registration can be completed within 48 hours prior to the flight and allows avoiding conventional control, reducing waiting times.

People traveling with minors or non-resident foreigners must carry out the immigration control at the traditional modules, where the corresponding documentation will be verified.
