If your trip ends before December 1, you will be able to change the date of your ticket without change fee or fare difference for a flight with a later date than your original flight.


If your original trip ends after December 1, 2020, you can change the date of your ticket by paying only the fare difference, taxes or boarding fees if applicable, as long as there is availability.


In case you want to change it:

Between the months of December 2020 and February 2021, between March 28, 2021, to April 3, 2021 (Easter) or flights after June 2021, you will only pay the fare difference, taxes, or boarding fees if it exists. (Not valid for reservation with partial payments "signs")

REMEMBER THAT:

  • At the airports, there will be a Sanitary Customs to control all passengers.
  • It is not allowed to cross sanitary cords.
  • The place of origin and destination must be in Phase 3, 4, or 5.
  • They can only make the journey outside the curfew hours.



Consider the following:

In no case may COVID-positive people, a suspected case that is in quarantine or a person who is quarantining coming from abroad, request permission.

Attention:

If one or both communes (of origin and destination) are in Step 1 or 2, the trip is only allowed for work, medical reasons or attendance at a funeral. In this case, you must have a Single Collective Permit issued by the employer (only for essential work activities) or obtain one of the Temporary Individual Permits at www.comisariavirtual.cl.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS


FLIGHTS WITHIN CHILE

Last Update: November 20th, 2020

AS OF NOVEMBER 23rd, passengers entering Chile and specifically the Santiago airport, must comply with the following:

They must complete the form "Travelers' Affidavit" electronically and up to 48 hours before boarding. It is available at www.c19.cl

In case of minors, it must be signed by an adult.

Form must be submitted to the airline prior to boarding (and attached to the Travelers Affidavit) a negative PCR test result for SARS-CoV-2, which will allow them to be exempted from the mandatory 14-day quarantine. The PCR test can’t be older than 72 hours from boarding the aircraft and that this is the last airport before arrival in Santiago. 

 From December 7th, foreigners who do not comply with the PCR test will not be allowed to enter the country. For those who do not comply with this point, Chilean and foreign residents may enter, but will be quarantined, unless a PCR test is performed.

 Children and infants must also comply with the negative PCR test in order to enter the country.

 As of November 23, non-resident aliens who come from, or have been in, any high-risk country in the last 14 days will be required to comply with a 14-day quarantine upon arrival in Chile, even if they have a negative PCR. This measure will be in force until December 7th.

 Possess a health insurance that covers the benefits associated to Covid-19 during their complete stay in the country, with a minimum coverage of 30 thousand American dollars. The insurance must be for the entire period of the trip and must indicate that it covers expenses associated with Covid 19.

 If a passenger has a destination in a region other than the one in which he/she entered Chile, he/she may continue his/her trip during the first 24 hours after entering the country by public or private transportation, complying with all relevant sanitary measures.

 

For passengers bound for PUNTA ARENAS

The following cases are exempted from a mandatory 14-day quarantine:

 Residents who enter the Magallanes Region or move between provinces, presenting a negative RT-PCR test for Covid 19, taken no more than 72 hours before their entry or movement.

Residents who enter the Magallanes Region or move between provinces, and begin their 14-day quarantine, in case the RT-PCR test for Covid 19 is negative, the isolation period indicated at the date of notification of the result will be terminated.

Residents moving between provinces, presenting a negative antigen test for Covid 19.

Residents who move between provinces and begin their 14-day quarantine, in case of negative Covid 19 antigen test, will have their isolation terminated. 

 For passengers going to BALMACEDA

Passengers going to Balmaceda / Aisén, must present a negative PCR to fly to that region, which may not exceed 4 (four) days from the sample taking.

 Important: (FLIGHTS WITHIN CHILE)

  • It is a requirement to reside in a commune that is in Phase 3, 4 or 5 according to the Step by Step Plan.

TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS ON FLIGHTS TO CHILEAS OF NOVEMBER 23rd, passengers entering Chile and specifically the Santiago airport, must comply with the following:

Flights from Colombia:

  • Only Chilean citizens and residents of Chile (with valid documentation that accredits it) can enter the country.
  • All Chilean and foreign residents are subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine upon arrival in Chile.
  • Passengers must submit an "Affidavit for Travelers to Prevent Coronavirus Diseases (COVID-19)" upon arrival or prior to departure. It can be presented on the following web page https://www.c19.cl/es.html
  • Passengers arriving by air in Santiago whose final destination is another city in Chile must complete the quarantine in Santiago before continuing to their final destination. There are no exceptions to the quarantine requirement.
  • Passengers bound for other cities must demonstrate the need to travel: It may be for work reasons, assistance to medical treatment, or funeral. If you do not meet these requirements, your entry to the city may be denied.
  • On the recommendation of the Civil Aeronautics of Colombia and by contingency, for flights from Colombia, it is allowed to carry only one handbag in the aircraft cabin; Therefore, if you buy hand luggage, the airport will ask you to take it in the hold of the plane as checked baggage; But don't worry, this is at no cost to you.
  • As of October 19, people who have a negative result of a PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 will not be obliged to carry out said quarantine when entering the country. If the test has been carried out abroad, it must not be older than 72 hours from the moment of entry to Chile.


Flights from Peru:

  • Only Chilean citizens and residents of Chile (with valid documentation that accredits it) can enter the country.
  • The passenger must use a mask and face shield at all times within the airport facilities, up to the boarding area, where they must comply with the JetSMART safety instructions
  • The passenger must show at the airline counter the negative result of the PCR test carried out no more than 72 hours before the trip
  • All Chilean and foreign residents are subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine upon arrival in Chile.
  • Passengers must submit an "Affidavit for Travelers to Prevent Coronavirus Diseases (COVID-19)" upon arrival or prior to departure. It can be presented on the following web page https://www.c19.cl/es.html
  • Passengers arriving by air in Santiago whose final destination is another city in Chile must complete the quarantine in Santiago before continuing to their final destination. There are no exceptions to the quarantine requirement.
  • Passengers bound for other cities must demonstrate the need to travel: It may be for work reasons, assistance to medical treatment, or funeral. If you do not meet these requirements, your entry to the city may be denied.
  • The passenger will be able to enter the Lima Airport 04 hours before the flight departure time.
  • As of October 19, people who have a negative result of a PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 will not be obliged to carry out said quarantine when entering the country. If the test has been carried out abroad, it must not be older than 72 hours from the moment of entry to Chile.


If you do not comply with the aforementioned, the authorities could deny your boarding or entry to the country, to which the airline would not be responsible.

FLIGHTS TO ARGENTINA

TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS ON FLIGHTS TO ARGENTINA

You can travel to Argentina:

Argentine citizens or foreigners with residence permits in the country.

NOTE: The expiration of the residence permits (precarious, temporary and provisional) expired after March 17, 2020 was extended until the end of the isolation.

Brazilian, Bolivian, Chilean, Paraguayan and Uruguayan citizens with tourist purposes limited to the Buenos Aires area. Passengers must present proof of negative PCR test no more than 72 hours before the flight start date, medical insurance including hospitalization and isolation by COVID-19. Migrations Argentina may require proof of return ticket, availability of funds to support the stay and place of residence at the destination. Passengers with tourist purposes will be exempted from quarantine. Any other destination is not authorized. That is to say, the passenger will not be able to travel to another destination via Buenos Aires. Other nationalities cannot travel to Argentina for tourist purposes.

Negative PCR test is not a requirement for Argentine citizens.

Passengers must complete the "Electronic Affidavit for Entry into the National Territory" document, which is available at http://ddjj.migraciones.gob.ar/app/. The affidavit must be completed within 48 hours prior to the beginning of the flight to Argentina. Persons over 70 years old are exempted from completing the affidavit in electronic form. In the case of minors or persons with different capacities, the declaration must be completed by a mother, father or representative.

Argentine citizens and foreigners residing in Argentina with another destination within the country are subject to quarantine for 14 days.

In the case of foreign people not residing in the country who travel to Argentina for work, commercial reasons or to participate in international sports events, it will be required the presentation of an entry authorization issued by the National Direction of Migration processed through the corresponding Consultado, a medical certificate stating that they do not present symptoms compatible with COVID 19 and an electronic sworn statement from the National Direction of Migration. Such persons will be exempt from the 14 days of preventive social isolation.

Crew members and national or foreign transporters will be exempted from adding the referred medical certificate.

Foreigners who arrive in Argentina with the aim of continuing their journey to another country may also enter the country, and must comply with the following requirements


- No symptoms of coronavirus

- Show your confirmed ticket out of the country to the destination country.

- Comply with the instructions of the national health authority.

- Continue your trip through the health corridor established by the authority


FLIGHTS WITHIN ARGENTINA

You should consider that, in order to travel, you must meet the following requirements:

Neither Argentine nor foreign citizens are allowed to travel for tourism purposes. The conditions detailed below apply only to those persons who perform tasks considered essential according to decree 792/2020 Art. 11 or who must move for reasons of force majeure and/or medical treatment and their companions.

The Single Certificate of Circulation must be processed through the website https://www.argentina.gob.ar/circular/tramite

MENDOZA (MDZ): For the entry of passengers, the presentation of the Certificado Único Habilitante de Circulación - Emergencia Covid 19 is required.

SAN CARLOS DE BARILOCHE (BRC): For the entry of passengers is required to submit negative COVID-19 certificate issued with a term not exceeding 48 hours or certificate of medical discharge for those who have taken the disease. NEUQUÉN (NQN): Only essential personnel is allowed to enter, except for medical treatment and residents with verifiable domicile in the Province of Neuquén and whose final destination is one of the 7 (seven) localities that register community transmission of COVID-19. It is required the presentation of the Unique Certificate of Circulation Enabling - Covid -19 Emergency and/or a certificate of medical appointment. At origin and destination, passengers will be subjected to a body temperature control.

TUCUMÁN (TUC): For the entry of passengers is required to submit the Single Certificate Enabling Circulation - Emergency Covid 19 and sworn statement made through the portal https://coe.tucuman.gov.ar/regreso_a_casas/ingreso_tucuman. Upon arrival, passengers will be subject to a control of clinical parameters by symptoms compatible with Covid-19.

Essential personnel and under medical treatment may enter the province for a period of 72 hours during which they may not socialize, after which time they must be isolated for 14 days. To enter, it is required the presentation of a Single Certificate of Circulation - Emergency COVID-19 and a sworn statement of health downloaded from the Santa Fe Government website (https://www.santafe.gob.ar/ms/covid19/permisos-de-circulacion/) or Coronavirus Santa Fe application.

SALTA (SLA): Only essential personnel is allowed to enter, except for residents who must apply for a special permit through the https://solicitudparacircular4.salta.gob.ar/declaraciones/ingreso/create website or a sworn health declaration - Registro Único de Ingreso a Salta (RUIS) - through the https://ruis-residentes.salta.gob.ar/ website, respectively. It is required to present the Single Certificate of Enabling Circulation and download the application Salta COVID or upload the data on the website https://appcovid.salta.gob.ar/#/ui/home.

The passenger must undergo a medical examination by the health authority, who will perform a clinical examination to identify the existence of respiratory symptoms, fever and / or any other compatible with COVID-19.

Isolation is not required for persons considered essential or for work purposes or who have proof of positive IgG test with no more than ninety days from the date of issue.

USHUAIA (USH): The passenger must present a negative/non-detectable PT-PCR test no more than 72 hours before the flight or proof of positive IgG antibodies no more than 30 days.

PUERTO IGUAZÚ (IGR): It is required to present a medical certificate that indicates that the passenger does not suffer from COVID-19, issued no more than 48 hours before the flight, or else a quick test or COVID-19 PT-PCR must be carried out at the passenger's expense. All persons entering the province must use the electronic geolocation and self-testing mechanisms established.

FLIGHTS TO PERU

Last Update: October 15th, 2020.
  • The passenger must wear a three-fold surgical mask at all times during the trip. Once you get off the aircraft in Lima, you will need to wear a three-fold surgical mask and face shield.
  • The passenger must show at the airline counter the negative result of the PCR test carried out no more than 72 hours before the trip (it can be the rapid molecular test or swab)
  • Children up to 12 years old: PCR tests will not be required, a medical certificate of good health is sufficient.
  • It is mandatory that the passenger has their PRE Migratory Control Registry before entering Peru. This can be accessed from a mobile device or at the following address: https://www.migraciones.gob.pe/preregistro/. This will generate a QR code that must be presented upon arrival in Peru.
  • All passengers must complete the online form "Electronic Health Statement, and commitment to isolate or quarantine the traveler" hosted on the website of the National Superintendency of Migration https://e-notificacion.migraciones.gob.pe/dj-health / Within 72 hours prior to the trip. The system will deliver a QR code that shows that the process was done. The QR code will be required by the authority.

  • Passengers who provide false information from the "Electronic Health Affidavit, and commitment to isolate or quarantine the traveler" will be subject to civil and criminal administrative sanctions that correspond as established in current regulations.
  • Passengers who do not present any symptoms upon arrival will not comply with quarantine, who may withdraw to their destination with the commitment to notify the health authority of their jurisdiction if they present symptoms compatible with COVID-19 within 14 days of arrival to the country.
  • In case of presenting symptoms associated with COVID-19, you must complete 14 days of mandatory isolation at your home or accommodation of your choice; The health authority will do the corresponding monitoring.


Failure to comply with these measures, as well as failure to comply with the instructions given by the flight crew or airline representative, or other indications described in this document, may result in the cancellation of your boarding or in a cause to refuse boarding of the passenger to the Peruvian State.

FLIGHTS TO BRAZIL

Last update: September 22, 2020.
  • Foreign passengers visiting for up to 90 days, before boarding, must present proof of purchase of insurance valid in Brazil with coverage for the entire period of the trip to the airline. The coverage must have a minimum of BRL 30,000 and the documentation must be written in English or Portuguese.

    This requirement does not apply:
    -  Nationals and residents in Brazil.
    - Passengers in transit.
    - Students residing in Brazil

FLIGHTS TO COLOMBIA

  • Colombians and foreigners who meet the immigration requirements demanded by the authority may enter Colombia.
  • To enter Colombia you must present the negative result of a PCR test no more than 96 hours before the flight time. (Decree 715 of 2020 September 15, 2020; of the Ministry of Health). The 96 hours are from when the exam was taken.
  • You must compulsorily manage, prior to entering the immigration control posts, the Check-Mig pre-registration, which can be found on the website www.migracioncolombia.gov.co. This process can be done 24 hours in advance and up to 1 hour before the trip. And they should include the result of the PCR test. available at www.migracioncolombia.gov.co
  • Passengers who at the time of boarding have fever or respiratory symptoms associated with covid-19 will not be allowed to board
  • Passengers at the time of entering Colombian territory must report their health status through the "CoronaApp" application and respond to the strict tracking and follow-up made by the insurer or the health secretary of the jurisdiction where they will stay or reside.
