CHANGES
At JeSMART All fares allow for changes in date, flight, route and name, subject to payment of a fee and/or applicable fare difference.
Yes. In JetSMART all tickets are entitled to exchange. You can change the flight, date, destination, and name up to one hour before the flight.
For changes of date, flight, or route, an additional charge must be paid plus the fare difference, if any.
For name changes in the ticket, an additional charge must be paid per section and per person. Once the trip has started, no name changes can be made to the passage of any of the sections contained in the itinerary.

Remember that when you travel you must ensure that you comply with all the requirements requested by the authorities, both for entering and leaving the country.
For date, flight or route changes, a charge per passenger per leg plus the difference in fare, if applicable, must be paid.
For ticket name changes, a charge per passenger per leg must be paid. Once the trip has begun, the name on the ticket may not be changed for any of the legs contained in the itinerary.
All changes are per passenger and per leg and can be made up to one hour before the flight departure time through the Contact Center. Changes at the airport will not be allowed and no post-flight changes will be allowed.
If the change is for a service of lesser value, the difference may be used to pay the charge or additional optional services.
All optional services are maintained for the new flight. If an optional cannot be confirmed, it may be changed for the most similar optional. If there is a balance due to differences in the value of optional services, or in case of not being able to confirm it in any category, this balance may be used as credit for the change of ticket charge, without exceeding the value of the charge.

The requirements for leaving and entering Chile are as follows:
Entry to CHILE According to the resolution of the Ministry of Health, as of May 9, 2023, the PCR test and the certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 will no longer be required when entering Chile, and the random testing of travelers will end, so there will be no sanitary requirements for passengers arriving from abroad. |
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PASSENGERS WITH INTERNATIONAL CONNECTIONS:
Those passengers with connecting flights with other operators in Santiago de Chile must accredit the following at the JetSMART counter:
- Connecting ticket no longer than 24 hours.
- You cannot deliver baggage in hold, you can only carry carry-on baggage.
- Documentation required to enter the destination country.
- Passengers who do not comply with the necessary documentation requirements for final destination will not be allowed to board.
- In case of connection to Lima, passengers must wear a surgical mask and face shield at all times.
For flights from Buenos Aires to Santiago de Chile, please be at the airport at least 4 hours before departure.

FLIGHTS TO BRAZIL
Entry to Brazil: Use of Masks As of March 1st, the use of face masks at airports in Brazil is not mandatory. Vaccination Passengers with a vaccination approved by the Brazilian Health Agency (ANVISA) or by the World Health Organization (WHO) or by the authorities of the country where the passenger was vaccinated, at least 14 days prior to departure, are considered vaccinated. Passengers bound for Brazil must have a proof or certificate of vaccination which must include the passenger's name, the number of doses received, the date they were received, a QR code and must be issued in English, Portuguese or Spanish. The passenger must carry the printed vaccination voucher or certificate. Passengers not vaccinated Passengers over 11 years of age who do not have a document confirming their negative RT PCR or Antigen Test result issued 24 hours prior to flight departure will be denied boarding. The test result may be in English, Portuguese or Spanish. Vaccinated Passengers They do not want RT PCR or Antigen test The test requirement does not apply to the following passengers: -Passengers in transit through Brazil, provided they do not leave the international transit area of the airport, -Air crew members. -It does not apply to children under two years of age. Long-term positive passengers who had Covid-19 in the last 90 days are also exempt from having a negative RT-PCR test result, provided they have all of the following: -Two detectable RT-PCR test results, at least 14 days apart, with the last test performed within 24 hours prior to boarding; and -Medical certificate stating the date of travel and that the passenger is asymptomatic and fit to travel. The certificate must be in English, Portuguese or Spanish, and must contain the identification and signature of the responsible physician. |
FLIGHTS TO COLOMBIA
According to Resolution #555 of the Colombian Ministry of Health, as of April 5, 2023, the biosecurity measures established for airports and aircrafts in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic are lifted and the use of face masks in airport terminals and inside aircrafts is suspended. Important: The use of face masks is recommended for persons over 60 years of age with comorbidities or respiratory symptoms. |
FLIGHTS TO URUGUAY
The requirements for entry into Uruguay are as follows:
Foreign citizens (non-residents in Uruguay) Health insurance: Compulsory for all passengers not residing in Uruguay and covering the entire period of stay. |
FLIGHTS TO PARAGUAY
The requirements for entry into Paraguay are as follows:
PARAGUAYAN CITIZENS Vaccination: Unvaccinated Passengers: Passengers over 12 years of age who are not vaccinated must have a RT PCR test within 72 hours prior to travel. Vaccinated Passengers: Those who are vaccinated do not require RT PCR. Exceptions: RT-PCR or positive antigen test showing they had Covid-19 between 10 and 90 days prior to arrival. IMPORTANT: The vaccination certificate must be in Spanish, French or Portuguese and must contain the following information about the passenger: name, date of birth, identification number, name of the vaccine manufacturer, stock number of the dose administered and date each dose was administered. |
