TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS


FLIGHTS WITHIN CHILE

Remember that it is your responsibility to comply with all the requirements required by law

  • It is a requirement to reside in a commune that is in Phase 3, 4, or 5 according to the Step by Step Plan.
  • Request 24 hours in advance an Interregional Transfer Permit that you can find at www.comisariavirtual.cl
  • In no case may COVID-positive people, a suspected case that is in quarantine or a person who is quarantining coming from abroad, request permission.
  • If one or both communes (of origin and destination) are in Step 1 or 2, the trip is only allowed for work, medical reasons, or attendance at a funeral. In this case, you must have a Single Collective Permit issued by the employer (only for essential work activities) or obtain one of the Temporary Individual Permits at www.comisariavirtual.cl
  • Have a health passport, which can be obtained at www.c19.cl
  • They can only make the trip outside the curfew hours
  • It is not allowed to cross sanitary cords
  • At the airports, there will be a Sanitary Customs to control all passengers

Important: To travel, you must have a health passport, affidavit, submit to temperature measurement, and questions from the authority such as background, health conditions, and relevance of the reason for travel.

FLIGHTS TO CHILE

  •  Only Chilean citizens and residents of Chile can enter the country. *Does not apply to crew or passengers in transit. 
  •  Passengers must submit an "Affidavit for Travelers to Prevent Coronavirus Diseases (COVID-19)" upon arrival or prior to departure. It can be presented on the following web page https://www.c19.cl.
  • All Chileans and foreigners are subject to a mandatory 14-day quarantine upon arrival in Chile.
  • Passengers arriving by air in Santiago, whose final destination is another city in Chile, must complete the quarantine in Santiago before continuing to their final destination. There are no exceptions to the quarantine requirement.
  • Passengers bound for other cities must demonstrate the need to travel: It may be for work reasons, assistance to medical treatment or funeral. If you do not meet these requirements, your entry to the city may be denied.

FLIGHTS WITHIN OR TO ARGENTINA

  • Flights to Argentina are suspended until October 11, 2020. *This does not apply to nationals and residents of Argentina * This does not apply to repatriation and medical flights.
  • Passengers must complete an "Electronic Sworn Declaration for entering the National Territory" available at http://ddjj.migraciones.gob.ar/app/.
  • The affidavit must be completed within 48 hours before the start of the flight to Argentina.
  • Argentines and residents of Argentina are subject to quarantine for 14 days.
  • Travel for tourism is not allowed.
  • For the cases of foreigners not residing in Argentina who travel to Argentina for work, commercial or sports reasons, and are exempt from performing the 14 days of preventive and compulsory social isolation, they will also be required to add a medical certificate that They do not have symptoms compatible with COVID 19 that they must attach to the online sworn statement of the National Directorate of Migration.
  • National or foreign crew and transporters will be exempt from adding the referred medical certificate.

FLIGHTS TO PERU

  • Flights to Peru are suspended. *This does not apply to humanitarian and repatriation flights. *This does not apply to nationals and residents of Peru.
  • Nationals and residents of Peru are subject to quarantine for 14 days.
  • National and foreign passengers must present an "Affidavit of Health" at least 72 hours before flight departure. They must have a QR code that delivers the sworn statement obtained from the following web page https://e-notificacion.migraciones.gob.pe/dj-salud/

FLIGHTS TO BRAZIL

  • Foreign passengers visiting for up to 90 days, before boarding, must present proof of purchase of insurance valid in Brazil with coverage for the entire period of the trip to the airline. The coverage must have a minimum of BRL 30,000 and the documentation must be written in English or Portuguese.

    This requirement does not apply:
    -  Nationals and residents in Brazil.
    - Passengers in transit.
    - Students residing in Brazil

FLIGHTS TO COLOMBIA

  • Among the measures for entering the country is the presentation of the negative result of a PCR test no more than 96 hours before the flight time. (Decree 715 of 2020 September 15, 2020; of the Ministry of Health). All 96 are since the exam was taken.
  • Additionally, passengers must compulsorily fill out, prior to entering the immigration control posts, the pre-registration ‘Check-Mig’, which can be found on the website www.migracioncolombia.gov.co.
  • This process can be done 24 hours in advance and up to 1 hour before the trip. And they should include the result of the PCR test.
  • Passengers who at the time of boarding have fever or respiratory symptoms associated with covid-19 will not be allowed to board.
  • Passengers at the time of entering Colombian territory must report their health status through the "CoronaApp" application and respond to the strict tracking and follow-up made by the insurer or the health secretary of the jurisdiction where they will stay or reside.
  • Due to Colombian health regulations, passengers can only carry a backpack or purse in the cabin. It is not allowed to carry a suitcase or carry on.

Yes. We changed our changes policy temporarily for being more flexible and we include it for all bookings FlexiSMART at a cost of $ 0, included in your ticket at the time of purchase, with which you can modify your reservation (change date and / or destination) up to one hour before the flight without paying for the change fee. You will only have to pay the rate difference if it exists.

If your flight has not been modified

  • For tickets purchased until July 31, 2020 you can:
  • Change the date 01 time without paying the change fee or fare difference to fly until December 31, 2020 as long as there is availability.
  • If you want to change the destination, you can also do it at no cost, only paying the rate difference if applicable.
  • Any change of date, destination or return request must be made up to 72 hours before the departure of your original flight.

ABOUT THE CLOSURE OF BORDERS:

  • The government of Chile decided to close its borders to non-resident foreigners from March 18, 2020 until September 30, 2020 (this measure could be extended)
  • The Argentine government decided to close the domestic operation between March 20 at midnight and September 20, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.
  • The Peruvian government decided to close its borders between March 16 at 11:59 p.m. and September 30, 2020 inclusive.
