FLEXIBILITY

In order for them to plan their flights, we have extended the flexibility of our change policy for all tickets purchased as of January 1st, 2021 on all our routes.

For tickets purchased from January 1, 2021 to February 28, 2021:

If your flight has not been cancelled or rescheduled, you can change the date or destination of your ticket once up to 48 hours before the start of your trip, as long as there is availability for domestic and international flights, without paying the change fee and you will only pay the fare difference, if applicable.


If your flight was cancelled or rescheduled*:

  • You can make 1 date change without paying the change fee or the fare difference until December 31, 2021, provided that there is availability for domestic and international flights.
  • If you are not clear about the date to change your ticket, you can request a refund through a Gift Card for the same value of your purchase, to fly until December 31, 2021 or choose some of our alternatives available in our service channels. *Flight rescheduled for more than 59 minutes.
  • Any of the above alternatives must be requested up to 1 hour before the flight.

Remember that when you travel you must ensure that you comply with all the requirements requested by the authorities, both for entering and leaving the country. 

IMPORTANT:

The policy of changes can be made only one time and is not valid for reservations with partial payments "signs"


In case you want to change the destination:

You will only pay the fare difference, taxes, or boarding fees if applicable.

ARE YOU GOING TO TRAVEL WITHIN CHILE?

This is what you should know before starting your trip.


  • Reside in communes that are in Phase 3, 4, or 5 according to the Step by Step Plan.
  • Have a Health Passport that you can process at www.c19.cl.

REMEMBER THAT:

  • At the airports, there will be a Sanitary Customs to control all passengers.
  • It is not allowed to cross sanitary cords.
  • The place of origin and destination must be in Phase 3, 4, or 5.
  • They can only make the journey outside the curfew hours.



Holidays permit: 

  • If you live in a commune that is in Step 2 and you are going to travel around the country, remember that you must apply for your holiday permit at the "Comisaría Virtual page".
  • It will be available from 4/1/21 to 31/3/21.
  • You can use it only once during its validity.
  • It applies to only one destination, and you must specify a departure and return date.
  • You must carry your Health Passport, which you can obtain at www.c19.cl
  • The Holidays Permit will not be valid to go to communes in Step 1 or in Quarantine, and will only serve to move to communes that are in Step 2 or higher.

Do you fly to Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales or Balmaceda? 

You must meet the following requirements: 

  • All passengers going to these cities must comply with a PCR RT test of maximum of 72 hours at the entrance to the region.
  • The PCR test does not apply to children under two years old. In case the passenger is a resident of the Magallanes Region and who accredits this condition and does not have a negative RT-PCR test for Covid-19, he/she must initiate a quarantine for 14 days, which will only be terminated in advance in case a negative PCR result is reported to the health authority.
  • Those persons traveling to Puerto Natales, Balmaceda, and Punta Arenas for tourism purposes must apply for a special vacation permit available at www.comisariavirtual.cl and a health passport available at www.c19.cl.

Are you flying to Balmaceda?

Passengers going to Balmaceda must present a negative PCR in order to fly to that region, which cannot exceed 4 (four) days from the sample taking.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS


FLIGHTS WITHIN CHILE

TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS ON FLIGHTS WITHIN CHILE 

As of January 4th, the following protocol applies for trips within Chile. 

  • It can be requested by communes in phase 2. 
  • You must apply for the vacation permit only once in the virtual shirt shop and to only one destination. 
  • The start and end date of the trip must be specified. 
  • The communes in phase 1 are not authorized to this permit. 
  • This permit is complementary to the health passport. 
  • The permit is not valid for trips to communes in phase 1 and will be available until March 31st. 


For passengers going to PUNTA ARENAS - PUERTO NATALES - BALMACEDA:


  • All passengers bound for these cities must comply with a PCR RT test for a maximum of 72 hours upon entering the region.
  • The PCR test does not apply to children under two years old. In case the passenger is a resident of the Magallanes Region and who accredits this condition and does not have a negative RT-PCR test for Covid-19, he/she must initiate a quarantine for 14 days, which will only be terminated in advance in case a negative PCR result is reported to the health authority.

FLIGHTS TO CHILE

Last update: February 4th, 2021.

All persons, whether Chilean, residents or foreigners, must comply with the following requirements:

  • Negative result of PCR RT test, whose sample collection has been performed up to 72 hours prior to boarding the last flight to Chile. Children under 2 years of age are excluded.
  • The PCR RT test must be presented to the airline prior to boarding.
  • Complete the Traveler's Affidavit available at www.c19.cl up to 48 hours prior to departure. In case of minors it must be signed by an adult.


  • All passengers will be quarantined for 10 days upon arrival in the country. From the 7th day a PCR test can be taken and if the result is negative, the quarantine can be waived.
  • Additionally, all foreigners must have a health insurance that covers the benefits associated with Covid-19 during their entire stay in the country, with a minimum coverage of US$30,000. The insurance must state that it covers expenses associated with Covid-19. 

If any of the above requirements are not met, the passenger will NOT be boarded.

Chileans and Resident Foreigners with positive Covid test:

For passengers who have been infected by the SARS-CoV-2 virus during the month preceding their embarkation to Chile, and who, in addition, 72 hours prior to embarkation, the result of their RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 persisted as positive, may only enter the country if they have two positive results for the aforementioned test.

That is, they must present two positive RT-PCR tests within at least 14 days of the 72-hour PCR test prior to the flight. These passengers may embark without making the affidavit at www.C19.cl and must complete it by hand upon arrival in Chile.


Passengers who have been in the United Kingdom in the last 14 days are not allowed to travel to Chile. This restriction does not apply to Chileans and permanent residents, who upon entering the country will be quarantined for 14 days.


If the passenger's destination city is different from the region of entry to Chile, he/she may continue his/her trip during the following 24 hours after entering the country by public or private means of transportation, complying with all required sanitary measures.

FLIGHTS TO ARGENTINA

Last update: March 1st, 2021

From 00:00 on December 25, 2020 until March 16, 2021, the entry of tourists from neighboring countries is suspended.

Only Argentine citizens and residents previously authorized by Customs may enter.


Excepted:

* Diplomats, officials and essential personnel coming from authorized destinations must have authorization from the NDM , present negative PCR test and COVID insurance.

* International transport personnel and crews are exempt from the requirements, under the application of specific sanitary protocols, in the exclusive exercise of their activity.

* Athletes under specific protocols for sports events, with prior authorization from the NDM and health authority, their activity will be supervised by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.


Native Argentines and Foreigners residing in the country must:

1.- Complete an electronic Affidavit (available at the Migrations web page) within 48 hours prior to boarding.

2.- Until March 16, 2021 at 00:00 hs. You can only enter with negative PCR RT 72 hours before boarding the aircraft.

Children under 6 years old, Argentinean or residents, will be exempted from the PCR examination requirement.


Foreigners with direct relatives of Argentine nationality and resident in the country must validate their documentation through

CONSULATE

A "Visa for family reunification" costs between 550 and 850 dollars and enables the foreigner to apply for permanent residence in Argentina. 

Steps:

a) Present a birth, marriage, cohabitation or joint venture certificate, duly apostilled or legalized, which proves the direct link with an Argentine citizen or resident, a copy of the Argentine ID card of the family member

b) Chancellery of intervention to Ministry of Health and National Direction of Migration to authorize the entrance

c) Within 48 hours prior to shipment, complete electronic DDJJ with negative PCR (no more than 72 hours prior to shipment)

d) Present negative physical PCR at the time of boarding, otherwise you will not be able to board the flight.


NATIONAL DIRECTION OF MIGRATION

For the visit of an Argentine relative (it does not grant residence) with a migratory rate of 9,000 pesos (Decree No. 865/19 article 1 paragraph m). 

Steps:

a) Submit to the airline a birth, marriage, cohabitation or common-law marriage certificate, duly apostilled or legalized, proving the direct link with an Argentine citizen or resident, a copy of the Argentine ID card of the family member and a ticket reservation

b) Submit to the airline a note of request briefly explaining the need for the visit, dates of departure and return and where you will stay

c) Within 48 hours prior to shipment, complete electronic DDJJ where you must attach negative PCR (no more than 72 hours prior to shipment) and Covid-19 medical insurance

d) Present negative physical PCR and physical Covid-19 medical insurance at the time of boarding, otherwise you will not be able to board the flight.


The Ministry of the Interior through the National Direction of Migration has established that all persons entering the country must use the application COVID 19, for 14 days and can be downloaded from the following site

Other considerations:

* Children under 6 years old from all countries eligible to enter the country will be exempted from the PCR examination requirement, whether they are Argentineans, residents or foreigners from neighboring countries or with Argentinean relatives.

FLIGHTS WITHIN ARGENTINA

For domestic flights in Argentina you should consider the following:

  • The movement of those people who intend to develop activities considered essential and/or with tourist purposes is allowed.
  • In all cases and regardless of the reason and destination of the trip, the Single Certificate for Travel Authorization must be managed through the website https://www.argentina.gob.ar/circular/tramite


Mendoza (MDZ): No particular documentation is required.

Buenos Aires (EZE): Passengers who intend to enter the Province of Buenos Aires for tourism purposes must submit a "Summer" Certificate which must be processed through the web portal https://www.argentina.gob.ar/verano/certificado 48 hours before the date of travel. Those passengers who are going to the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires must undergo a PCR type test at the stations available for that purpose.

Córdoba (COR): Passengers who intend to enter for tourism purposes must present a "Summer" Certificate, which must be processed through the web portal https://www.argentina.gob.ar/verano/certificado.

San Carlos de Bariloche (BRC): The presentation of the approved CirculaRN permit is required, which must be processed by family group through the website https://circulacionrn.rionegro.gov.ar up to 72 hours before the trip and print/ show the generated receipt. Additionally, a sworn declaration for travelers must be presented, indicating personal data and the planned itinerary, which can be accessed through the website http://www.bariloche.gov.ar/ingreso-bariloche-en-avion/ and must be processed no more than 24 hours before the flight.

Neuquén (NQN): The presentation of the "Summer" Certificate is required, which must be processed through the web portal https://www.argentina.gob.ar/verano/certificado. People who intend to enter the province for tourism purposes will be required to submit a proof of reservation of accommodation or data of relatives or residents at the destination, comply with the documentation controls of each jurisdiction and, in particular for people at risk and / or over 60 years presentation of travel insurance COVID-19 or health coverage.

In the case of residents, it is necessary to provide proof of address by means of an ID card, proof of reservation of authorized accommodation or information about family members or residents at the destination, and to comply with the documentation controls of each jurisdiction.

Tucumán (TUC): For the entry of passengers is required to submit a sworn statement COE Tucumán made through the portal https://coe.tucuman.gov.ar/regreso_a_casas/ingreso_tucuman. Those passengers with touristic purposes must present a proof of reservation of authorized accommodation. Upon arrival, they will be subjected to a control of clinical parameters by symptoms compatible with Covid-19.

Additionally, those passengers with tourist purposes must present a reservation for tourist service or accommodation and register as a sworn statement in the application "COVID-19 Province of Santa Fe" available at https://www.santafe.gob.ar/ms/covid19/aplicacion-movil-covid-19-provincia-de-santa-fe/.

Puerto Iguazú (IGR): A medical certificate is required indicating that the passenger does not suffer from COVID-19, issued no more than 48 hours before the flight, or else a quick test or COVID-19 PT-PCR must be performed upon arrival at the airport. If you present a proof of purchase of a tourist service, the test can be performed free of charge. Any person entering the province must use the electronic mechanisms of geolocation and self-testing established by the application "Digital Missions", available through Play Store and App Store.

FLIGHTS TO PERU

Last Update: March 06, 2021
  • Until March 14, 2021, the entry into Peru of non-resident foreigners from Europe, South Africa and/or Brazil, or who have made a stopover in those places, is suspended.
  • This does not apply to nationals and residents of Peru.

As from January 4, 2021, mandatory quarantine for a period of fourteen (14) calendar days, counted from the arrival to the national territory, for all Peruvians, foreigners residing in Peru and visiting foreigners, who enter the national territory by international transport, regardless of the country of origin.


During the entire flight to Peru, passengers must wear a three-fold mask, face shield or protective goggles.


  • Arriving passengers: Electronic Affidavit via Migration application, negative PCR test up to 72 hours after the result was issued (Molecular Test or Antigen Test), three-fold surgical mask and mandatory face shield or protective goggles. This test will be reviewed at the counter and boarding.  Rapid tests are not accepted.
  • In case of passengers who have had Covid 19 must present an epidemiological and clinical discharge, accompanied by the initial diagnosis, which must be issued with more than 14 days. These documents replace the Molecular or Antigen Test.
  • Children up to 12 years of age: PCR tests will not be required, a medical certificate of good health is sufficient.
  • Departure passengers: No symptoms of COVID-19, comply with the requirements of the country of destination, mask and face shield are mandatory.
  • It is mandatory that passengers have their PRE Migratory Control Record before entering Peru. This can be accessed from a mobile device or at the following address: https://www.migraciones.gob.pe/preregistro/. This will generate a QR code that must be presented upon arrival in Peru.
  • All passengers must complete the online form "Declaración Jurada Electrónica de Salud, y compromiso para realizar el aislamiento o cuarentena del viajero" (Electronic Affidavit of Health, and commitment to carry out the isolation or quarantine of the traveler) hosted on the website of the National Superintendence of Migration https://e-notificacion.migraciones.gob.pe/dj-salud/ within 72 hours prior to travel. The system will give you a QR code that shows the process. The QR code is required by the authority.

FLIGHTS TO BRAZIL

Last update: January 9th, 2021.

From December 30th all passengers to enter Brazil must have the result of a negative PCR RT test 72 hours before the flight departure. This includes nationals, residents and tourists.

The test applies to people over 12 years old. 

Additionally:

- Children under 12 years of age traveling with adults are exempt from presenting the result of the RT-PCR test, provided that all fellow travelers present a negative result of the RT-PCR test.

- Children ages 2-12 traveling alone must have a negative RT-PCR test result.

- The PCR RT test report may be in Spanish, English or Portuguese.

FLIGHTS TO COLOMBIA

Arrival in Colombia:

As of January 7, 2021 and according to resolution 002 of January 4 of the Ministry of Health of Colombia, all passengers must have a PCR test 96 hours before boarding with negative results.

The PCR test applies to all persons, from zero years onwards.

For those passengers who could not take the test before the resolution; they must verbally declare it to the company and commit to do the isolation for 14 days. Or, to be tested in Colombia and isolated until the result of the test is negative.

Passengers and permanent residents of Colombia may enter the country without problems, but they must comply with the previous point.

All passengers must complete the Check Mig through the page of Migration Colombia before presenting themselves at the airport, which can be found at the web address: https://apps.migracioncolombia.gov.co/pre-registro/public/preregistro.jsf

According to the decree 1727 of December 21, 2020 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs all foreign passengers must have an exit ticket from Colombia.

No passengers will be allowed to board if at the time of boarding they present symptoms of fever or respiratory problems associated with covid-19.

Passengers at the time of entering Colombian territory must report their health status through the "CoronaApp" application and respond to the tracking and strict monitoring made by the insurer or the health secretariat of the jurisdiction where they will stay or reside.
